In class today we learned about the present subjunctive and indicative. We did some activities in the book but we also played some games to try and practice. For lunch a few of us went to Yoses which is a soda right by our school, and was recommended by one of the professors.

They had so much food to offer! It was so interesting because the tacos were like taquitos on top of a bed of lettuce and tomatoes. And, when you would ask for salsa they would give you mayo and ketchup, which is something different I observed. They also had pasta and enchiladas. The food there was phenomenal! As always in Costa Rica. Our meal was very very cheap for all the food we received. We got a drink of our choice and a plate loaded with a lot of food.

Right after school we all met up at the entrance of the school to go to El Teatro Nacional. The theatre was located in downtown San Jose so we also got to explore a little bit. Downtown reminded me a lot of downtown New York. The theatre was stunning. We got lucky and got to see a little of the students audition for the play. The theatre purposefully keeps the entrance fee very low so that all locals have a chance to visit. They offer different deals throughout the week as well.

Beautiful painting on the ceiling that was donated by a French painter that had never been to Costa Rica
