The day we were all dreading finally came. This was technically a free day, but really it was a day to pack everything up and get ready for the long day of travel ahead. My roommate and I ran errands and got the last few gifts for our relatives. I spent the rest of my night reflecting.

I was just so astonished at how fast 30 days flew by. I felt so grounded and grateful for this experience. Immersing myself in a different culture and living like locals really gave me more perspective. The rest of the world does not live like the United States. In so many ways. And so many people go their whole lives without venturing out into the unknown. Living in another country taught me the importance of travel, and that you can learn so much from the rest of the world. The world is our oyster and we should take advantage of it. I met so many amazing individuals that I would not have met otherwise. I would like to thank CRLA; for the amazing professors. Every single one impacted me and taught me so much. I remember on the day of our graduation we all sobbed. Our professors stepped up and said very nice things about all of us. We were all so sad. I could not believe that this day had come. I would like to thank Vanessa, Lisi and John for their help in leading the study abroad trip. I want to thank a MILLION times over my sweet, caring mama tica for all that she had done for my roommate and I. learned so much from Linci. She made the most delicious food also. She consoled my roommate and I when we missed our family the most. We share many tears and laughs. Mama tica, thank you so much. I want to thank MCC, ISCIP, and Lindsay for the opportunity to travel abroad!
