Today we had to be up really early to catch our bus. My roommate and I, Demi, were up and out of the door by 8:50 am. We had a harder time trying to find the school, which I was okay with because it was our very first time finding the school on our own. On our way to Manuel Antonio we drove through what was called "gringo town." It was a very wealthy area with a lot of stores that can be found here in the United States. I saw stores like Forever21, Ralph Lauren and other restaurants as well. The area reminded me a lot of Beverly Hills. The first stop we made on our voyage to the jungle was Tarcos. Here we were able to buy these beautiful pareos and other small souvenirs. We also got to see crocodiles!

After that we made another stop at Jaco! They are known for their dirt beaches! We did not, unfortunately get to go to the beaches, but we got to eat!

I remember getting off the bus in Jaco and it was VERY hot and humid. We got to the hotel and it was so breath-takingly beautiful.

After all getting acclimated with our rooms and such, we decided to go to the pool and also spend some time at the beach to watch the sun set.

In the picture above Susan, Lauren, Demi, Meagan and I all enjoyed the sunset together! We also go to buy some more souvenirs.
