On our second day we learned a lot of the imperfect subjunctive. All through out my years in school I was learning Spanish from someone that is not a native speaker, and I instantly was able to pick up on more things having a native speaker teach me. For lunch we decided to head to the automercado to try tamales. I unfortunately did not get to try them because I wasn't aware the tamales had pork and chicken. /: So, I raced back to school to buy a lunch from there. After class Meagan and I wanted to get gym memberships at the mall. We toured the gym for a little and then went back to the automercado for an assignment. We had to find 5 packaged goods that we could not find in the US. I ended up buying these savory plantain chips that were coated in lime and salt. It sounds like all that I did today was munch, and that is really what I did. On our walk back home I wanted to try cheese empanadas from a nice lady. My roommate also stopped at Pops to try some more flavors. I got cas and mango ice cream.
