Cafe Britt

Today we had a coffee tour at Cafe Britt. It was super informational and very interesting. We learned all about the history of coffee, how to grow coffee, how to roast coffee, and the different kinds of coffee. We also did lots of tasting! (Which was my absolute favorite part!) They also fed us a buffet which was phenomenal. They had a coconut soup that is making my mouth water just talking about it! I got lots of chocolate for my family.

After our lunch we all ventured off to the butterfly garden! We saw lots of beautiful butterflies. A lot of people even got to hold a butterfly in their hands.

We bussed back to San Jose after the coffee tour. A few of us wanted to adventure more in San Jose so a group of us went to a vegan pizza restaurant called Pizza Oliva.

We talked to the owner who actually had been to Chicago a few times. He had also visited other cities in the United States. We chatted for quite a few and he gave us a lot of insight on pizza making. He was so passionate, I felt very grateful to have talked with him.

When we got back later that night I packed for Arenal and got to bed early!
