Another Long Day of Travel

On this day I woke up early to get some more time at the beach, and also some packing to finish before we left Manuel Antonio. The hotel we stayed at prepared us a delicious breakfast every morning. This morning they made potatoes with Gallo pinto and an egg. Gallo pinto is their Lizano salsa mixed with rice, beans, and some spices. It was definitely one of my favorite dishes!

Because we spent the entire day traveling back to San Jose, there is not much we did. When we got back my roommate and I did get to enjoy our first official dinner with our mama tica. Demi and I are both Mexican, and we were discussing with our mama tica of the differences between a Latino culture and the culture back home in the United States.
