A Good Day

I think today may have been my most favorite day by far. Demi and I walked to school and also got coffee on the way. This was something different for us because we usually never stop for coffee. Today, we were feeling adventurous. The day was beautiful. The sun was out and shinning so bright. I learned more about the norms in Costa Rica with two people that are dating. I did notice that people are not afraid to show public affection. It is almost encouraged to show public affection. Which is very different from the United States. After school I went to the gym with my friend Meagan and we had a great conversation. We talked a lot about how some people live their whole lives without experiencing how other might live. She was giving me a lot of insight on her own beliefs and how she strongly believes that anyone has the power to change the world, and make it a better place. The conversation my mama tica and I had left me thinking about a lot of my choices that I had set up for the following semester. I loved that conversation!
